Audax Renovables around the world: The international expansion of our company is one of the basic assumptions of the Audax Renovables Strategic Plan. We are already successful in many countries, including: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and Hungary. Through dynamic and rapid growth, Audax occupies a high position on the energy market, thanks to which we have become a solid and constantly developing company in the international arena.
The internationalization of our company began in 2013 when our company was established in Portugal. It is already 9th in this country in terms of the volume of energy supplied.
In 2014 In 2011, we entered the Italian market with the acquisition of the supplier Big Energia, and a year later we increased the number of our customers in this country fivefold by acquiring the customer portfolio of Compagnia Energetica Italiana.
In 2015 In 2008, we began our expansion in northern Europe, establishing a company in Germany in Hoyerswerda. Its headquarters was then moved to Berlin, where the company has continued to grow ever since.
In 2016 Audax entered the Polish market by purchasing electricity supplier Deltis Energia based in Warsaw.
Audax The Netherlands
In 2017 Audax appeared in the Netherlands by purchasing 72% shares of the Dutch electricity and gas supplier Main Energie, which has a very high position on the energy market in this country. The size of the company corresponds to the size of Audax in Spain and ranks fourth in the rankings in the Netherlands.
In 2020 Audax entered the Hungarian market with the acquisition of electricity supplier E.ON Energiakereskedelmi Kft., which has a market share of 25% in the highly competitive Hungarian market of SMEs, large industrial customers and public entities.
International expansion is one of the goals, the implementation of which is crucial for the future of Audax. We are working on applying abroad the model that allowed us to succeed in Spain, respecting the characteristics of individual countries. We focus on growth based on long-term relationships with clients, based on mutual trust. The goal is to accelerate international expansion in Europe and prepare the ground for operations in Latin America.
