In 2009, after the liberalization of the energy market in Spain and the completion of a number of formalities, while constantly gaining knowledge, a small electricity and gas company called Orus Energía was founded: the nucleus of the future Audax Group. It was a start-up company with a very uncomplicated structure where invoices were printed, folded and sent by hand. Thanks to adapting to the changing situation, the right commercial vision and constant effort, it managed to revolutionize the then stagnant energy market, dominated by large, traditional companies.

Orus has gradually exploited a niche in the market thanks to its innovative approach aimed at streamlining procedures and facilitating sales by external salespeople, continuous investment in training and the creation of new products that meet customer needs. In 2011, the growth rate reached triple digits, which led to the purchase of the energy seller Audax. Then the growth took place at an exponential rate. Audax constantly improved its procedures, introduced innovations and created new products to meet market demands, and soon began to expand internationally.

In 2013, Audax crossed the borders of Spain, entering the Portuguese market. Currently, it operates in 7 European countries: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and France. In all of them, forecasts predict further steady growth of the company.

The history of our company is a story of perseverance, innovation and everyday work, where the efficiency of procedures and a simple organizational structure facilitate quick decision making. This, in turn, enables the creation of products that meet the customer's needs.

Thanks to continuous work and innovation, we have become a reference point for the energy sector, and the president of Audax Renovables, José Elías, has received numerous awards highlighting his entrepreneurial qualities: the Award for the Best Young Entrepreneur from the AIJEC association and the statuette of the Best Young Entrepreneur awarded by EY.

The Audax Group owns wind farms and photovoltaic power plants in Spain, Poland and France. It has a portfolio of operational assets whose technology is characterized by high quality.
